Laguna Food Pantry is an agent of Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, a nonprofit organization and a member of Feeding America, a nationwide network of food banks and the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity.

Volunteers

Our volunteer staff consists of working, unemployed or retired adults, and high school, college,

and graduate students who have flexible schedules and time to volunteer.

Prospective volunteers who are bilingual Spanish-English speakers are helpful.

Volunteers should commit to volunteer on a set day or days every week or month.

The hours are Monday through Friday from 8 to 11 a.m.

Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility of each volunteer at the Laguna Food Pantry.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Greet shoppers

  • Fundraising

  • Administrative

  • Grocery pick-up

  • Sorting

  • Stocking shelves

Prospective volunteers between the ages of 14 and 17 need to be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult on their first visit and until sufficiently trained and must have a parent or guardian signature on their application and

Volunteer Assumption of Risk form.
